Yell logo and brand guidelines

This page provides you with downloadable versions of the Yell logo, along with guidelines on how to use it correctly across a variety of applications.

Guidance

  • The Yell logo requires white space around it equal to 50% of the height and width of the Walking Fingers icon, so please ensure that no other graphics or text enter the area indicated here around our logo.
  • Use the positive version on light or white backgrounds. The full-colour or all-white reverse logo may be used on dark colour backgrounds, as well as dark areas within photographs.
  • The logo may not be displayed as a primary or prominent feature on any non-Yell materials. Companies using the logo pursuant to these guidelines must also display in the primary and more prominent position, their own logo(s), business name, product names, or other branding.
  • The logo may not be imitated or used as a design feature in any manner.
  • The logo may not be used in a manner that would disparage Yell or its products or services.
  • Neither the logo nor the Yell name may be used in any other company name, product name, service name, domain name, website title, publication title, or the like.
  • Non-Yell materials should not mimic any Yell advertising, product, or website design.
  • The logo must be used as provided by Yell with no changes, including but not limited to changes in the colour, proportion, or design, or removal of any words or artwork. The logo may not be animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance.

Yell logo usage

The Yell logo is widely recognisable due to a consistent use of branding. Please do not manipulate the logo in any way. See examples here of how not to use our logo.

Yell brand assets

This is the master version of the Yell logo and should be used whenever possible. The single colour version (white or black only) should only be used where full colour print is not possible.

The Walking Fingers are the centrepiece of the Yell brand and are essential in visually representing our brand and company values.

This icon should only be used independently of the Yell wording where it is not possible to use the Yell master logo above, such as part of a social media icon set.
